ATTS question on an SH
is there some fluid you have to replace when the ATTS light comes on? mine lit up for a while and now it's gone, but i figure the ATTS is deactivated now... so how crucial is this? and please don't say yer ATTS won't work now...yes i am aware that it's no longer activated, but it doesn't have any negative effect?? thanks!
my ATTS light has gone on a few times. For me it never had anything to do with the ATTS. The ATTS is linked with many other things. Ex. I had clogged O2 sensor and check engine and ATTS light were on, cleaned the O2 sensor and both lights went away. And the fluid that is used in the ATTS is Honda Automatic Tranny Fluid.
Do you have a check engine light or any other CELs besides the ATTS?

Yeah, always diagnose any CELs before ATTS - some CEL problems will simply turn off ATTS as well.
