what is the exact short amount of money ?

for starters...

$0.00-$100.00 = tune up
$0.00-$20,000.00+ = engine rebuilt/turbo

That doesn't go together.

In short, you have two options. Turbo, or motor swap.

Or a different car.

If you want to add a small amount of power, everyone here is going to recommened intake/header and exhaust. These are the most basic performance mods to any car.

Which route did you want to go? All motor? Boost? Do you want to stick with your stock d16z6, or maybe upgrade to a B series? Give us more information, and we'll be able to help you better.

ghetto intake box. take your air box, open it up, flip it upside down, get some tape or rubber bands and and tape down the filter, and then shut your hood. vroom vroom, your faster now, haha. well you sound louder.

i would say intake/exhaust would be the first things to do.

no one is going to be able to help you unless we know what kind of budget you are on. If you got 2 grand laying around, you can do 3 things, swap a b16, built a mad HMT for the D, or swap a b18b, and build a ghetto turbo kit, I.E. parts from junkyards, so why don't you give us more information?

So if you have like 4 grand laying around you can do a built b16a and boost the biatch That's what I'm doing.

Might I add, **** IS EXPENSIVE!

I gotta find a different hobby

Maybe more strip clubs?
Lotto?
More beer?
Captain Morgan??

nah, I'll stick with my VTEC
