im not familiar with wiring problems but this stuck out like a sore thumb...my check engine light is on and vtec wont work...i think these wires are associated with vtec...the green sensor thing by the vtec solenoid....i found a broken wire...is this my problem??? can i fix this wire myself?? how would i go about doing so...THANKS!

pull the battery
rewire that broken wire and you
're straight

 

vtec oil pressure switch. Get a new connector from a junkyard harness and splice it into the existing wires.

 

is there ne way i can fix that without getting a new connctor??????

 

solder it maybe?

 

you can depin it and you can try to add a new pin.
