check engine light is on.....NO VTEC...i discovered this broken wire....is this the problem and how would i fix it???
im not a genious about cars, but i no this has something to do with vtec, and the wire is broken!

 

can i solder them...or do i need a new vtec oil pressure switch

 

how much wire do you got coming out of the plug?? because you might be able to solder ... oh, where is the plug located?? what color is it??...good luck

 

take the pins out of the connector and either get new ones and crimp the wire or work the ones that you have and solder

You could simply bypass the vtec oil pressure switch by jumping a wire from the vtec oil pressure switch to the vtec solenoid signal.
