Gsr intake maniflod.....Good/Bad
Hi im wondering if the "Snail" Mani. is all that bad.
Im thinking about upgrading to a skunk 2 pro series
but im not sure if it's worth it.....What do you guys think?

It's fine for up to moderate power. Anything more and it will be restrictive. Keep in mind that anytime you are making more power (or need to make more power), you need to keep all air restrictions (and sometimes fuel) to a minimum. The intake manifold is one of them.
The stock manifold can be ported for excellent flow, but the head itself will become the biggest restriction at this point. It's usually much easier to upgrade to an aftermarket manifold.
I was told that there is a way to remove the secondary butterflies in the GSR intake manifold...i've been doing some research into it cuz I plan to do it to mine if possible...if not, then I'll be going for a Skunk2 i/m

however, removing the butterflies will hurt you in the low rpm, so there is no point in removing it.

Thanks alot guys. I dont plan on going turbo however some bigger cams are def.

I had a boosted gsr motor running 10psi with a stock IM and it made decent power.... put on a skunk2 IM and noticed quite a difference right away. i never had the oppurtunity to dyno the setup after the skunk2 install but i definantly saw more mid range power and the powerband felt "smoother" almost.
