i'd say go with the jdm b18c gsr just because its a 1.8L and you have a 4 door. good luck on your decision

4000 bucks, i'd put a b18b in it, then turbo the **** and run crome.

it'd be the fastest possible for $4000 that I can see, unless you have some weird hookups on H22 swaps

4000 on the entire car or just engine?

Rims/Tires = 1000+ easy
Suspension = 200-1000
Engine = 0-3500 (not including mounts/suspension/etc)
I/H/E = 800+
Turbo/SC = 1500+

My personal opinion, get some wheels, new tires and new suspension first. In the end it's up to you, but I'm not going to put my car in a shop for a while for an engine swap, I'm just going to supercharge my D and leave it at that. (I'd go turbo but SC is just easier...)

I've got wheels/tires/springs (only), SRI and Apexi WS2. I've spent just shy of 1500 and will be spending 2000 on a JRSC soon. Just throwing some figures around to help you decide.

(Of course if you're not touching wheels/tires/suspenion or I/H/E this post was completely useless)

Please search before posting. So as to not have a vast amount of redundant threads.

Read the top link as stated, here I'll paste it for you.

My 2 cents - When I have $, I'll put a GSR engine in my EG6. Goodluck.

yeah i know, but to each his own, i just never understood the reasoning behind modifying 4 doors. They are just ugly, and the weight is impossible to lose

What do you want to accomplish with it as a DD? 4k is a good amount if you plan on doing it yourself and it doesn't have to be down long at all. I just did a B18 swap in less than 10 hours running and out the door.

if you plan on doing your own swap work, make life easier and get an obIIa engine and computer. save yourself some trouble with ecus and o2 sensor issues.
That's if you're ok with running a stock swap setup
