H22, JRSC, EK
Sry, I didn't give enough info. I want to fit the JRSC in my 96 ex on h22. I have heard from some people that the Jacksonracing supercharger won't fit in a EK with a h22 cause of the firewall or shocktower. I know people have done this setup before. I want to try and find someone who has experience or an idea to get me started.
look into the H2B kit ... it allows you to use a B series tranny, mounts and axles.
This means that there is no fabrication, no cutting to fit the shifter assembly, the motor doesn't sit at a back-tilting angle.
Search for H2B or browse the all-motor forums and check it out, a lot of people using it in there.
The only thing I am NOT sure of is, is whether the blower will clear. I do know that the fitting is pretty tight in EF's using a skunk2 mani ... haven't seen any pics of them in an EK and def. not with a jrsc.
Also, I would imagine that using the non-butterfly manifold (the blower) will now allow you to use a b series ECU or a chipped P28 or something ... which means you can use something like crome to tune it with (not sure if crome is h/f series capatable...)
Good luck man - I'm sure it will be fast if it gets done.... let us know hte progress

My car is h22 ready, I had a h22 in it and the engine was junk. So I sold it in pieces and am staring over, but no totally over cause I have the shifter assembly all set up, mounting kit, etc.
H2B was something I considered, but then I talked to a distributor who will get me a complete euro R swap for a good price. And I hear the tranny is hella better then the reg h22 tranny's. The tranny and the little extra HP is why I wanted to go this route. I also figured going the H2B route would be a bit more expensive. I think the h2b is around $1k.
I have all winter to do this so I don't mind fabricating something to make the JRSC fit.
My main concern would be the clearance for the SC.
