Speed Limiters? Who has them and who doesn't

I personally do and its at about 120mph. I am thinking of changing my ECU to a P28 or P72 for Hondata, do they both have stock speed limiters? If so at what speed?
Whats the easiest and CHEAPEST way to bypass it?
Thanks

I forgot, but I thought either the JDM or USDM P13 ECU didn't have a limiter.. I can't remember now..... Or I could just be wrong.. Heh

SO what about the p28 ecus? I'm running the hondata s300 - it doesn't have a speed limiter removal.......so i'm wondering if it does have a speed limiter...........or not.
i guess i could just try to get to my top speed.........but nah.

jdm p13 I have it. and I am planning on getting a fields sfc just to get rid of it.
I dont think any of the us hondas have speedlimiters. dont quote me on that.
The cheapest way is just to have your computer chipped and you can remove the limiter.

yeah, actually its not that big of a deal to me yet. I guess i'll just see one night.....I'm running the s300 though. Out of all the vehicles, why would they not have a speed limiter? You would think they would.....thats just weird to me. Especially here in the US
......well, the hondata system is great in all means of tuning. Chipping the p28 and then getting hondata would be counter productive.
I'm going to do a little research really quick to see if the p28 has a speed limiter.....if it doesn't, the hondata wouldn't need to remove the speed limiter......hold on one sec

I am pretty sure hondata does remove it. go look through the s300 software. I think i remeber seeing it when i was helping a friend setup. and if you get a us p28 I dont think it has it anyway.
Ok after doing a quick search on google. It is said that the USDM p28 ecu does NOT have a speed limiter. Therefore, if you get the hondata s300 system.....you'll be in there - like swim wear.........
............Not sure if you know much about the s300, but go to hondata.com and check it out. I prefer it over the other systems because its hidden, and it has everything they have, plus more in one unit. There are no add ons or anything. Its one unit that hides inside the ecu. Others suggest getting the p72 ecu - it also shouldn't have a speed limiter, but it allows you to keep the iabs and knock sensor i think.
Nah, i've never seen it on my s300. Probably because the hondata uses all of the usdm ecus.........therefor it shouldn't need a speed limiter anyway. I'll search my software really quick though.

Nope it doesn't. Just has rev limiters and launch control things........**** like that. But since the p28 doesn't have it anywya.......who cares
I got my hondata s300 and p28 ecu - socketed and everything for $717 shipped. If you can get a p28 cheaper, you can buy the hondata for 590 or something and send it to precisionh23a and he'll socket everything for you for $50 i think. So that'll be like 640 or so. plus shipping.

Sorry, i forgot to answer your question. Anywya, the cheapest and easiest way to bypass the speed limiter is to unplug the vehicle speed sensor
Works all the time. Also, your odometer won't go up, so - gives you a heads up when trading in your vehicle........
Shh, don't tell anyone!
That was a Mob secret...........
