check you oil....also in the turn stay above 4800rpms.

You were starving you engine from oil! This is not a good thing, especially in VTEC. I would check your oil more often, B-Series VTEC motors love to eat oil.

checking oil is serious conditon in B series motors two of my friends have spun a bearing because of low oil one in a GSR the other in a b16 all motor not a good sound or money saving situation to put yourself in

ALWAYS check your oil man. Every B engine i have had old and new has ate oil up. Check it when the car is cold like after it hasnt ran for atleast 45 minutes so that the oil has time to settle into the oil pan. That lets you get an accurate idea of how much oil you have, and do this like every 5 days atleast. I do every day but im ****. I also change my oil every 2000.
