Need Help,vtec problem
Have a fullybuilt ls/vtec eg but for some reason when it hits vtec it bogs.I've checked the vtec wires, changed the vtec pressure sensor(cause it had a check engine for that),oil level is fine, vtec solinoed screen is clean . I also have a -4 steel braided line for my vtec oil feed with brass fittings does anyone think that could be the problem.

Re: Need Help, vtec problem (Mr Hammond)
Did it just start doing this recently, or has it always been like this since the build and tuning?
Its been doing it since i built the motor.

What stock ECU did you try? Usually if VTEC engages and the car bogs, then the crossover point is set way to low. Didn't your tuner say anything when the car was being tuned?

Re: Need Help, vtec problem (Mr Hammond)
Ive tried a stock p28 and p72.The vtec was set at 5200rpms,is that to low?The tuner said it might be the -4 braided line i was using and copper fittings,so i just changed them today to a -3 line with billet fittings and still nothing.i also changed my skunk2 stage 2 cams to the stock ones just to try it out and still nothing.Running out of ideas, next will be the whole vtec soleinod.
