Default vtec

kinda weird to explain but when my car gets warm vtec works fine but sometimes it will be warm and it wont engage... after turning the car off and back on everything is back to normal.... any ideas?

do you have enough oil? throwing any cel's?

x2... VTEC is dependent on oil pressure and will not engage if oil pressure is below a certain threshold.
