Default Speaker Conversion

Hi, I have two Pioneer 6x9's that i would like to install in my 94 civic. I know that honda uses 6 1/2" speaker size for their setup but ive heard of converting that setup to w/e you want. Can anyone give me a link, thatd be great b/c i would be able to move infinitys up front and get rid of the shitty stock esp when they are 11 years old lol. Thanks

right now i have 6.5 all the way around, if you can seal off the air leaks around the rear speakers then it sounds wonder.

right now they sound like 6x9

but as far as i know the thing to conver its cutting the holes out.

or buy some 6x9 boxes

i tried finding a write up cause i wanted to do it myself.

couldnt find one, most people who do it just measure, mark, and cut for the 6x9.

if i decide to go 6x9 im just gonna get some 6x9 boxes and put em in over the stock holes.

but when i figured out a way to block off the air that gets around the sides of the speakers in the back i found it to be just as loud and clear bass

btw which infinity you got?

i have the white refrences in the front, and the speaker grills touch the woofer surround, so you have to take em out unless you wanna bust ur speakers

i believe those infinity are the same as mine, or same model possibly diff color.

either way, to get thim in front, you have to take the door panels off, and you must make sure you dont use the stock grills cause they touch the speaker.

i need to find a way to fix that cause no grills = ugly
