H22 crank sensor code cant get rid of
I have tried everything changed the distributor checked wiring thought it might be my balancing shaft belt not being on so i put it on this code will not go away help me out it is a 92 eg h22swap
did you pull the code or have you taken it to some1...cuz when you pull the code it just gives you a general idea, take it some1 spend the 60$ to have them put it on there 10k machine to pin point. or change out the sensor..
Just out of curiosity, have you tried reseting your ecu by unplugging the battery for 30 seconds? I'm sure you already know this, but the ecu will hold a code until it gets reset, even if the problem has been fixed.

bingo! also you can phase out the sensor down there as long as you rewire it the right way.. make sure to clear that code.

Code 9 can mean a few things. I really do not see the actual sensor fail (if you do not mess with it). I have seen a lot of bearing problems with internal coil (you said it was a h22a, JDM, so it will be internal). The bearing will create slack and throw the reading off to the ecu, thus your CEL.
Start the dizzy for red dust or bearing failure.
