Default What is the best B18 Setup?

I'm wanting to build a B18 for my 1997 Civic HX. But I've heard a lot of things about the different setups for a B18. I want to have a VTEC motor. And i will most likely turbo it in the future, if not before i swap it into my car. So i was just wondering what is the best block, head, etc.

but isn't there a better setup, like a b18 block and a b16 head? or a b18c1 with a ls crankshaft?

you could use a b18b bottom end with a b18c or b16 head... will make good power even if you dont end up going turbo... do the research cause there is too damn much information on motors in this forum... search is your friend.

You could go with a b18c with a b16 head they call it a poor mans type-r around here or you could go b20 CR-VTEC pushing major power and major tourqe

Do you two realize that just telling him to 'search' without providing an ounce of help is against forum rules. Quit flaming new members. The search does suck.
