Is 400WHP Possible On My setup??
My question is my ls vtec setup able to handle 400 wheel horsepower...heres my block setup

Mahle 9:1 Compression Pistons
Mahle Piston Rings
Arp Headstuds
New Oem Headgasket
Gsr Timing Belt

Why not get your block sleeved while you're still dropping all that money? I don't see a block holding together more than 15 psi and you're going to need well over that to put down 400 hp. I'm not 100% sure on your turbo but I would maybe use something a little bigger?
my stock b16 held 16psi daily driven...if you look at the dyno graphs jeff evans has theres similar setups holding over 400whp easy...and stock sleeves are proven to hold up with a good tune...

i have a walboro 255 fuel pump and the injectors i have are 450cc bluetops....but i think i might have to get 550's for 400whp

If you're going to Jeff Evans, ask him about neptune...i know he's all about that. He's a great tuner though...he tuned my setup (Apexi Power FC).

i don't believe he is going to jeff evans, i think he was just mentioning that with a good tuner that his power goals are achievable wihout having to get his block sleeved. i do agree with you that jeff evans is an awesome tuner and does some awesome work.
there are tuners putting down 500hp on a stock b16 block, no sleeves no guard. get the tune right and yes it is possible. make sure you have all your supporting mods and stay clear of that good old detonation i dont think pump gas is gonna cut it
On page 1 of THIS thread there is an LS making 373 HP at 18 psi, however it is on a 60 trim T04E. It's only a minor difference, so your power goals should be reachable at around 18-24 psi. But IMO, that's pushing the turbo pretty hard.
You should read up on that thread since there's about 38 pages of turbo B18a/b setups in there. Also I think you should go with some 650's or even 750's since it's only $30 more for those two. Check out http://www.rceng.com and look for the formula on how to calculate the injectors HP limitations.

i doint think 400whp is possable, but above 350 whp.
about getting your blocked sleeved.... if you dont wanna drop a couple grand into sleeving it... just fill the block. its much like a block gaurd but it cost about 30 bucks. pretty damn solid. if done right you can boost way over 20 psi.
or you can post your block, but i would recomend filling it other than posting. posting can cause stress on the stock sleeves, considering its only supports a couple sports of the sleeve, while filling supports the whole damn thing
not sure if your a member of http://www.homemadeturbo.com or not but there are awsome white-ups on how to do both things
when i get around to building my moter im gunna fill my block, and 20psi DD here i come
also: a member of HMT dynoed his car i think 430 hp, and 289 tq or somthing, built b16 with i think some minor head work, with a FILLED block, 30 PSI. cheakc out the how to's if your not a baller like me

So why did it blow?
I don't understand why everyone says these huge boost levels will 'hold'.
Of course they'll "hold" for a short period of time.
Who's got 300-400 WHP on a stock block for 20K+++ miles?
