Did you get all your plugs back in place? I know you said you swapped the dash, so it could be lost in the lower dash area.

or the VSS could be cut from the swap, or it may be inop. just a suggestion. VTEC won't kick in if it's inop (i believe), so if you're getting VTEC then the VSS is fine.

Thanks, but i'm still hurting for an answer.

None of the wires are cut or spliced or etc.

The tach signal comes from the blue wire on your distributor. Not the VSS sensor.

My SPEEDO WORKS, but my Tach is NOT operational. You did read it correctly.

haha i'm sorry now i have you confused. inop=inoperative, not working. i thought your speedo wasn't working but your tacho was working.

HAHA...!

I wish i can but i need this car perfectly stock. Don't want any hassle from the SMOG GODS! Even i MAY install a 10" TACHOMETER!

check ur distributor if the tach isn't workin then no signal is bein send to the tach..from the distributor...if u would have went wit an LS is would never happen!!!hahahahaa

That's a good start. I'm gonna check if the distributor is giving out a signal.
