vtech problem!!!!
If you're talking about your vtech phone, I don't think that's related to your speedometer at all.
But your vtec isn't supposed to engage without a signal from the vehicle speed sensor. If your VSS is bad, your speedometer won't work AND your vtec won't engage.

i think its mad at you cause you spelled it wrong
plus vtec has nothin to do with speedo or tach, its all in the engine, you should hear a crossover

There is your problem, honda motors must have give you a vtech motor instead of vtec motor. You should call them about that.
