i am about to start putting this motor together for daily driving for now for all motor and maybe later go on with a nitrous kit or even a JRSC (maybe both).
now heres the setup so far:

D16a6 block
Z6 Vtec head
88-89 D16A1 (p29) pistons
ZEX street/strip camshaft
Walbro 255lph fuel pump

-my questions:
what head gasket should i go with?
should i go with an EX tranny?
will it fit the D16a6 block?
what other things should i look into?

i am also going to strip down the head and block and get them all cleaned up before i put it back together. and nothing will be milled if that helps. all factory specs.
