Any experience with this muffler, how loud is it, tone? choosing a universal muffler over catback because of price

 

if you are going to get the muffler just for sound with ur stock piping....its most likely gonna sound really bad. its most likely gonna be loud tho.....if thats wut you like .....the catback gt2 system has very little bends throughout the system so its very loud but im not TOO sure about the muffler

 

can anyone reccommend a muffler, i know about the ebay crap. ive just been doing some research on full catbacks and other exhaust mods, and ive been kind of turned off to that stuff by what ive found out. im mainly interested in a nice tone and looking cool, maybe i cant get it with just a muffler, i suspect the gt2 is unbelievebly loud tho

 

what inlet size tip should i be looking for one of these mufflers? what is the size of the stock exhaust on a 7th gen 4banger?

 

hey i have a tusudo muffler, jsut the muffler. looks like a regular muffler with 4 inch tip angle cut, really nice quality and sound. Doesn't sound loud at idle but once vtec kicks in, sounds deep not raspy. Bought it from a friend here in NY for 60.

 

you should go with the apex ws II.

i agree. the apex ws II is good quality, not loud enoguh to get pulled over and looks nice.

 

yeah man, i found that ws2 muffler from apexi and it looks pretty much like what i want, i was thinking i wanted to get full cat back, but i dont want to sacrafice low end power, and spend 500+ dollars in the process, there is value to having a stainless exhaust system where i live tho

depending on wut are ur goals, if ur NA then 2.25 should be good. but if u going boost save the money and keep it stock and fab a cut-out

nevermind, just found one for sale, its over 500 shipped tho

 

the GT2 will be LOUD AS HELL...and are you sure its a legit muffler...i didnt know RS*R sold just mufflers....

ya the rsr gt2 do make a universal muffler, i think they sell em on modacar and http://www.rms-usa.com
