on the passenger side..the axle wont go in more than a hairline. i took the pin off the end of the groove and it still doesnt go.i tried jiggling it and changing the direction of the spline. i have ek with itr swap .i got the other side to work but this side is being a pain

any suggestions

use a hammer and lightly tap on it to press it in

 

i hit it..didnt move at all.it goes in like .5 of an inch and doesnt go any more..i move it for te splines to match up but doesnt go.im lost! help this is all i need to complete my itr swap in my ek! just the pass side is giving me problems i had it in before perfect but i had to take it out to fix the tripod!

 

What axles are you running?

 

First off you need to keep that ring on and are you using the right axle?

 

ya im using itr axles for my itr swap in ek,.i took them right from my itr so i know they are itr

 

Are both axle male splines on both sides

 

i have it in the right way. it just aint budging

 

I'm talking about both inner's on both axles are they both male?

If you took both axles out then you have the wrong axle in the wrong side, you need the axle with the full spline going into the trans and the one with the half spline going into the intermidiate shaft so just swap then.
