Problems w/ ITR hub swap
Alright guys, I don't know what's going on....
I'm doing the '96 spec ITR 4 lug on my '92 Civic VX. Everything is going smoothly until I'm 1/2 way through putting the passenger side front hub on. I get the upper A arm in through the shock tower, then I put the axle in. After I put the axle in, I try putting the ball joint on but the hub sticks out 4cm from where the ball joint goes into the lower A arm.
I've pounded the axle in as far as it will go. If I take the axle out, it goes right on, but obviously that won't work too well once I try to drive it
I'm pretty sure the ITR axles are the same as the GS-R like I have, but can't figure this one out.
So lets get some H-T insight. Here's some pictures of it. And I've tried simply pushing it on, that's no go. I got the driver side ok.

Alright, went back outside and figured it all out. All this handwashing and GoJo is getting annoying
The inner CV joint separated. I've never taken an axle apart, how do I get it back together?

Fill the joint about halfway with grease and then put it on over the tripod and slide the boot on and then strap the boot on.
EDIT: Oh wait I just remembered those are square rollers so it might be kinda tricky to get it back on, try to line the rollers up before putting the joint back in, just keep fidling with it, the first time I did it it took a little while.

Word, yeah, they're the square ones. I tried (not for very long) to get it on, but was having a hard time so I said fuggit for now.
I guess when I pulled the 4 x 100 hub off the front, it must have pulled that tripod out of it's support housing.
haha, and I was wondering, "why the F won't this ball joint line up?"
Thanks Kris

Yep, no problem, just try lining them up before you put the joint on, if you take one of the rollers off you will see that it will only go in the joint one way, that's how you have to line them all up, its a lot easier if you can stick the shaft in a vice.
