Default sputtering problem in turbo gsr

heres the deal i just washed my engine with simple green and i covered the distributor and air filter.. took off from the car wash and the car was normal went home it sat for a good 2 hours... then i went to the autoparts store like a 5 mile drive and got on it a lil. parked it at the auto parts store... drove away car was as normal as before... then i go home take the hood off and stripped the paint and while reinstalling the hood i set a corner of it down on the engine somewhere... anyways now my car is sputtering like ive never felt no engine lights.. its like i hit the gas and theres a slight delay and its reluctant to rev at all but it idles normally and pulling a strong vacuum feels like its on 2-3 cylinders.. i cant figure out whether its a fuel or ignition problem or a sensor... would a bad o2 sensor cause this because that is a possibility my o2 sensor on the exhaust is pretty mangled....

well ititially it sounds like you got water in the dizzy cap, or a sparkplug wire.

but it continued to drive afterwords. can you remember exactly where you set your hood on the motor. you might have cracked the dizzy cap.

it sounds electrical all the way. especially that it idles normally.

if you hold the gas down, will it finally rev up and run smoth?
