all i am getting is a code 22 and my car wont start. its a h22 in a civic and has never been started before. dizzy reads good. dont know whats going on.

then you have more than just a code 22 then. you car should def. start, even with the vtec code... you just wont have vtec. sounds like you have some other things to check out in the mean time.
