3 inch ic pipping
hey guys, i recently got a decent deal on some 3 inch ic pipping. my setup is a sc34 and initially going to run half a bar and more later of course. am i going to feel any lag from the diameter being bigger compared to running 2.5 inch. just wondering before i try putting these pipes on my car. my intercooler has 2.5 inch inlets and outlets. thanks.

I would have to agree...3 inch seems like overkill for an sc34

i went 3" on my setup. only cuz my intercooler had 3" inlet ourlets. but im plan to be pushing 550-600 WHP. what i noticed was my throttle reponse was slightly better which i foudn a lil wierd. in terms of lag im runnin a T3 62-1 with a stage 5 turbine wheel and its actually not too bad.
i recommend 2.5 however cuz its easier to 1. fabricate 2. material is chaeper. 3 easier to fit.

i might have to end up selling it to someone who could actually use it. the intercooler setup i have now might not work with my current setup. so if i have to sell it ill go ahead and let the pipes go as well.
