Default What engine to go with?

May be picking up a 95 teg in the next few days but dont know how long that engine will last....meaning i will be bored of it real soon im sure. It is a ls with low kms 114,000kms (bout 72,000 miles) but coming from a 5.0 stang i know i will need more.

I am keeping my zex kit and will be hoping to put in a 50 shot at first and then 75 for the track.....what would be the best engine to swp in....b16? h22? gsr?

Itr is too high comp for spray and ls vtec is too much trouble and shop work for someone like me to put together.

Let me know what you think and why...thanks

Boost the LS on stock internals.

Make sure you run a compression test and all that good junk, you should be in top shape.

Definitely boost it, stock internals or not.

Ok what kit would be the easiest and safe on stcok internals?

Plus how much hp and trq am i looking at?

I am still thinking a swap and nitrous will get me alot moe power and less frustrations in the end.

So what engine?

If you are looking to swap motors just to run nitrous a little better.... then save your money, and rebuild the motor you. It will be cheaper, and you can build it to handle whatever specs you want.

I want a decent 160-180hp engine then spray on that...

Don't expect high torque from any of the B18's. I would personally get a B18C1, build the internals, then piece together a turbo kit.

fock all that.. i/h/e bolt on gsr with the 75 shot will do you justice and save you money for other stuff like internals.. seriously.. seen it done we have a few 92 b17's around here running 100 shots STOCK with bolt ons and cams running mid 12's.. ALL STOCK..gsr swap with 75= sick.
