All 95-01 Integra owners
I have a 95 GSR and when the window isn't rolled all the way up the window makes a chatter noise. Also, when you shut the door it sounds like the glass is going to break. When you shut the door, or hit a bump while driving. It's driving me crazy! I don't know how to fix it. I appreciate any help that can be provided.
I had that same problem on my 98 GS-R. I took it to Acura and the tech made a very simple and fast adjustment on the window. It was very easy.
The window sits in a metal channel guide and the channel contains a rubber piece which to window rides in. The rubber piece is adhered to the metal channel. But sometimes the rubber piece comes unglued and falls out of the metal channel. This allows the window to make contact with the metal channel and this is what causes the horrid noise. I have had this problem and it requires the removal of the door panel. You will need to remove the metal channel and re-adhere the rubber piece to it and reinstall it. HTH
just take it to the dearler, if you don't have a clue on what you will be doing
there are about 3 screws holding the door pannel down, the rest of the door pannel you have to pop off.

If you haven't taken the door panel off then now is the time to learn. It's not hard at all. Oh and I've had that same problem and the rubber strip that goes in the channel keeps coming out every once in a while. I haven't glued it back in the channel yet. But after you got it in make sure to grease the channel so that it runs smooth.
Cool i took the door panel off a while back and wasn't sure what was causing it,thanks i have the manual and a best friend thats a mechanic so i may be able to swing it.
OK, I had that problem in both of my doors and it was damn annoying. Here's what you do.
Don't go to dealerships or shops to do it. It's an easy job. to take the doorpanel off, firstly on the door latch, you will see a d shaped plastic. move it to the right and pull and there will appear a bolt. Undo it then take the plastic tub off(this is tricky so wiggle it around and dont break the plastic. Then undo the plastic bolt on the front upper part. Take a screw driver with a rag and remove the sides of the panel. Disconnect the wires of the power windows.
Once the panel is in a safe place, look for the rubber. It will be around 40cm long.
There is a bolt on the bottom left of the door. Undo that to loosen the metal track then install back the rubber.
I don't have pics and sorry if it's confusing but thats the best I could do. I fixed the rattle in no more than 20 mins.

I have that rattling but the rubber guide is in place. I don't get any sound when I close my door, only when the window is half open.
I got this sound after the body shop replaced the door, but reused all the other parts. Is there any other way to adjust the alignment of the window?

damn im not sure about that one. I guess you'll need a manual to see the window assembly. But I suggest you get the body shop take a look at it(the guys who did it) and make them fix up that rattle(as it was supposed to.)
