Window rattles
I did a search all i found was stuck window, window won't roll up, and window off track. My driver side window rattles when it's down. What do I need to check? Thanks
There's a pin in the top of the window that is in a runner.
There is a plastic spacer peice in the runner that falls out of every integra.
The dealer told me if you slam your door it could shatter but they wanted some ridiculous amount to fix it.
I just left it, nothing happened. Mine only rattles if it's half up or down.
i have the same problem except its on the passenger side...well its a rattle but i couldn't pinpoint exactly where its coming from ... only rattles when im driving at like 70 on the highway..sounds like its coming from the passenger door and sounds like metal...its an 01 gsr..do you think if i took it back to the dealership they'd fix it for me?...thanks
On two door Integra's there is a rubber run channel that sits in the rear guide channel. These often fall out and cause the glass to rattle against the metal guide channel when the window is open. If you have a rattle when the window is closed, the problem is something else. You have to remove the door panel in order to repair the problem. Remove the rear guide channel and find the rubber run channel which is probably laying in the door. Reinstall the rubber run channel and bend the little tab on the bottom of the guide channel to hold the run channel in place. It does not hurt to lube the run channel while you have it out. Then reinstall and you are down the road.
