Default what compression pistons is everyone running?

i'm running 9.1 wiseco pistons, thinking of switching to a higher compression piston

9:1 but it works out to about 9.5:1. I have no desire to run a higher compression ratio as it's a street driven pump gas car. Even at 9.5:1 the car moves just fine driving around town.

Why? The cons outweigh the pros on that one when you're talking about a street motor. Earl recommends 9:1 max for a pump gas streeter, and I think he knows more about building Hondas than what a few people on this board say.

I'm running 83mm Arias 9:1 pistons, very happy with em.

if u wanna make more power just up the boost 9.3:1 83mm here

You won't gain much by doing it. Just crank the boost up.

If you want more low end power, buy a V8.

That or buy a turbocharger that doesnt exceed your goal by ten fold.

yeah 9.1 is about the avg for most of the turbos cars on the market.

~8.7:1 wisecos. I plan on pushing some decent power on pump gas.

8.4:1 weiseco's here........with some deck re-surfacing and head milling running a pretty safe 8.9:1 no complaints.........
