9:1 SRP PISTONS
I have their 10.7:1 pistons in my b18a1. Theyre pistons, they go up and down and squeeze and suck like any piston does.
Mine were like +-0.5g out of the box.
Theyre a high silicon 4032 piston so theyre more brittle than the lower silicon 2618 pistons other manufactures may have. It makes them more prone to shattering under detonation. Low silicon 2618 forgings are "softer" so they tend to handle detonation better.
But either way theyre not bad. They expand less than 2618 forgings so you can run tighter ptw clearances

The srp pistons are good. I ran them in my integra as a daily driver for 6 years 400hp pump gas piston/rod motor. They were 9.1 and the motor was healthy. Granted a higher compression will make the engine more efficient but they will work just fine
thanks for chiming in guys. its great to know about them, not a racist.
as far as the compression and these pistons, well, i got them for free and theyre sitting on eagle rods ( h beams i believe) so i wasnt given a chance to choose my own compression ratio. if i did, id probably go 11:1

Just from looking at pictures of them, their ring lands look beefy enough to handle some abuse. From knowing the metal behind them, and knowing Supertech pistons, I'd consider them a viable budget piston.
Since you got them for free, you might be able to find someone to trade pistons with you. Also, since you got them for free, I would be suspect of them, as well as the rods. I wouldn't trust anything worth $400+ that someone just up and handed to me - there's always a catch. CAREFULLY inspect the pistons for signs of detonation wear, valve contact, and scuffing, and inspect the rods for any signs of spun bearings. If there is ANY blueish discoloration on the crank journal side of the rod, it's useless.
