First, does anyone make anything like this? I doubt it, so I'll probably have to make my own.. I was thinking of pairing the primaries 1-4 and 2-3 together, since the firing order is 1-3-4-2, (right?) the exhaust pulses would be even, 360deg apart in one side of the housing. Each side of the housing would then supply alternate 180 deg pulses to the turbo. However, hytech exhaust does not do this with their tri-y headers! They connect 1-3 and 2-4, so there is a 180 deg time between 1 and 3, but then a 540 deg time between 3 and 1. (it seems like 1 would scavenge 3, but what would scavenge 1? #2 fro the other secondary? (same goes for 4-2 2-4,) That is Not even, do they do this because you would have to have much longer primaries in a 4-1 design to get the same effect? Why does that make more power? Somehow I don't think that the same uneven pairing would hold true for a short runner turbo manifold, but I am curious to hear any thoughts on this..
