I'm not talking about threads at the top of the studs (I'll be using the arp moly base lube for that) where the nuts fasten to. But wondering how tight and if I should use oil or some other type of grease for the threads that go into the block, Not sure if it matters too much but wanted to know what you did, thanks

 

I always put a little motor oil on the threads and then torque the studs to 10lbs, I know they say don't torque them, but I've always found that method to work best.

yeah they say dont torque them, but i guess 10lbs isnt much...I just screw them all the way down snug em alittle with the 3/8 ratchet, i also just use the moly grease cause its there already..

 

Okay thanks guys, I'll just use the moly based grease it comes with and hand tighten it with the allen key
