Default ARP head studs in ls motor

i got some ARP studs im about to install, head is off bout to put it back on, anyone know a good amount to torque them too? i've read anything from 65-85 ft-lbs so i was go go for 70ish

i think my box was missing instructions, or maybe they jsut figure you know... also what do you guys do for putting the studs in the block, hand tight snug with a allen wrench or what?

lube everthing pretty much but the middle of the stud?

thanks

I think some people use 70-80ft lb's. Also try to blow some compressed air into the threaded holes just in case there is debris in there.

Yep, clean the threads, fresh engine oil on the threads that go in to the block, snug with allen wrench, and torque the nuts to 80Lb/Ft using the stock torque sequence. That's how I do them
