Sort of a dumb question... but did you remove the factory oil cooler when you installed the aftermarket one?

 

Nope.

 

have one, havent installed yet, dont plan on removing oem one

 

Kept the stock one. Works fine.

 

Does anyone have pictures available online of the stock oil cooler setup?

So why didn't you remove the stock one? Just wondering because doesn't the air to oil cooler make the other one redundant.

 

Removing the stock oil cooler is pointless.

 

That would be like removing the oil light and temp gauge from the dash after installing separate gagues. You could do it, but there's no point. My oil cooler isn't in yet, but I have test fitted the block adapter and there's plenty of room with the OEM cooler.

 

removing it means more work....
you have to loop hoses.. and get a shorter oil filter pipe

to much work
