Just changed headgasket, problem
I just changed the headgasket, and after thirty seconds of starting it up it starts putting out pure white smoke. I torqued the headbolts down to spec in the correct sequence with a felpro gasket set. It is cold so is this normal, or is it blown?

Before you rip it back apart,
Let it run for a while..See if it overheats..
What you are seeing is more than likely
anti-freeze that is in the exhaust from the previous gaskets failure..
It usually takes a while for it to burn out..If everything seems
ok besides the smoke,Take it for a long drive and the smoke
should diminish..Watch for oil and coolant loss..

Did you clean the old gasket off ENTIRELY??? If not that could be your problem. I mean there can be no remains of the old headgasket to ensure proper seal.
NO i cleaned the top of the block completely. I also had the head resurfaced. I'm hoping theres just coolant in the exauhst. I'll give it a try and let you guys know.

Good news I let it run for a while, and the smoke cleared up. Its idle has smoothed out quite a bit, but I still have an exhaust leak, and it does need new plugs.
I thank all of you for your time and help.
