Default head gasket blown

I know my head gasket is blown because its blowing out white/blue smoke.

I cant get it fixed till this weekend, and i will prob have to drive 3 1/2 hrs to a friends house to get it fix.

My question is how long or how far can i drive with this blown head gasket?

Thanks...

this don't exactly reflect a headgasket, it MAY be. other things would be worn rings, just something to check, but i don't think i would drive it three, and a half hours, that seems too much on a blown headgasket, hope this helps

I wouldn't drive the car with blown gasket at all! You're risking damaging all bearings & rings with mixture of oil with coolant. BAD THING!

I've got a similar problem. My gasket blew. I've got it all, little oil bubbles in coolant, white smoke, and some water comming out of the tail pipe (not just condensation ). But anyhow, I had to take my car about 60miles from home, so I rented a dolly and towed it up there. My car is pretty low and I didnt have any problems towing it. Good luck.

if i were you i knew for sure if it was the head gasket id change it myself. Just remember to torque the bolts in the correct sequence. If you dont know the correct way just refer to the manual.
