Default PLX WIDEBAND QUESTION

i got a plx m300...i wanna replace it with my stock o2 with this one...i'm also runnin a hondata s200wboost/dataloggin......so this plx has 4 wires coming off it red/black/white/grey...i know that the red and black are power and ground inputs and the other 2 wires grey and white are outputs...my question is can i hook up the wideband output to my ecu replacing the stock o2 and the other wire narrowband out from the plx to my autometer a/f ratio gauge...i think this should work because the gauge is a narrowband...i checked on plx's website and they make a converter for narrowband gauges that is on back order for ever....i emailed them numerous times about this and they would not answer to my dissapointment..i tried buyin the converter they said it was on backorder and automatically refunded my money...i would have waited...so do i need this converter box...or can i hook up the narrowband output from the plx m300 directly to my autometer gauge???......thx for any help

you connect the widesensor to the plx controller box..the controller box goes to the s200 from s200 it goes to the ecu

it should work, it's just sending a narrowband signal that the autometer gauge will interpret. it may not be accurate but it will work. (plx recommends a converter box to make the output accurate for the autometer gauges)

It will work just fine. But why not get a converter for like $45 and have your automemter display wideband readings.

It does, but if you run the one without a display, you can run a converter off the wideband output so it will read on your autometer a/f gauge.

Here you go:

Also, a buddy of mine ordered a PLX M-300 from me at Streetrays.com. I looked on their website, and they sell the converter as well for like $38.00.

I would keep looking till you find a vendor with the converter in stock. Somebody has to have them. I know I was planning on using one for my Defi A/F gauge.
