Default ECU question

Okay, here's the problem i had wired a switch to the cooling fan because the relay was bad. I turned it on this morning when i was on my way to work and everything started smoking, and all the wires melted. I disconnected the battery and unhooked all the wires running to the switch. Started the car and the rpms drop to 0 like its about to shut off and then it goes back up to 1200 and drops back down and keeps doing it. If i press the gas and hold it at a steady rpm it misfires. I checked all the codes and they are all sensor codes, map sensor, throttle position sensor, Cylinder Position Sensor, Crankshaft position Sensor, and so on. No other wires look to be melted under the dash or hood. Could it of fried my ECU? all the codes had to do with sensors. and i reset the ecu and it did gave me the same codes. Thanks for the help!

you got some serious jazz cookin. if youre going to rig up your car you should have wired your switch right and used a relay and a fuse or AT LEAST a fuse.

try reseting your ECU (hazard fuse). if nothing then it has to be your ECU.

Where did you take the power from for the switch? If you took it from the ecu, you probably pulled WAY too much current and which heated the thin wires to the point of melting and then contacting each other. I wouldn't be surprised if your ecu was toast. If no sensors work, either the sensor +5v or sensor gnd is damaged. You have yourself a serious mess. Don't take this as fact, but I would imagine you will need an entire ecu/engine harness. But you will have to do the testing to determine what is damaged. Based on your knowledge to not wire up a relay, I would be hesitant in letting you test anything either.
