I have a obd1 b16 in a 92 cx hatch and after having problems with starting and vtec...which still confuse me i started checking all the wiring. Under my dash, in the large clump of wires that plug into my chipped p28 ecu there are three hanging out.... I cant imagine this to be good...

They are:

Red with White stripe
White with Red Stripe
And Orange with blue stripe.

What are these wires where do they go!?

Since my car is starting now which i still cant explain i am more concerned about vtec which for those who are too lazy to read this is the problem.

My vtec only engages when i mash on the throttle. If i ease into it, even if i am at full throttle by vtec crossover...it wont make the crossover. This is really annoying. Any suggestions please

just buy a new wire harness from a junk yard ,
and re wire it yourself...
that **** u got there looks bad..good luck
