Default jdm gsr engine harness on US civic question...

Well, looks like im going to have to buy a US engine harness for my jdm gsr engine. Would that be a direct replacement, or would I have to lengthen some of the wires on the USDM engine harness?

How bout a little more info like, what year is your car?

92-95 - Use Stock EX/Si harness, add in knock/IAB sensor. VX harness, add knock, re-wire 7 wire O2 into 4. CX/DX/LX harness, add knock, IAB, 4 wire O2, VTEC solenoid, VTEC oil. 94-95 GSR harness everything works. B16 Del sol harness, add IAB.

96-98 - CX/DX/LX harness, add IAB, knock, VTEC Solenoid/Oil pressure. HX/GX harness, add IAB and 4 wire O2 instead of 5. EX harness, add IAB and knock. 96-97 GSR Harness.

99-00 CX/DX/LX/HX/GX same as 96-98. Si harness, add IAB. I don't think the 99-01 GSR harness will work.

*GX civics exist, but you'll probably never come acrossed one.

sry for the lack of info. I have a 93 ex coupe. If I reuse the stock harness will I have to lengthen any of the wires? We are almost finished ripping apart the entire jdm harness and flipping the harness around. (yes took long as hell). We just opend up the entire harness and used 16/18/12 gauge wire to extend the wires about 3 feet so they would reach the other shock tower plugs...

LOL just throw that JDM harness away man. Use your stock harness and add the new sensor wiring to it. There are far less sensors add, then wires to move around in the JDM harness. And what about each firewall connector, they have to be the same pinouts and this won't add the wires to the ECU, you need to run them yourself.
Use your stock harness like everyone said. If you're going to ask questions, why not listen to the answers...
