I have a 01 gsr swap in my 96 civic cx hatch. I wondering what harnesses will work with the swap because missing some connectors to wire into pcm also i have a 96 ingtegra gsr ecu. So main question is there a harness that can connect with the motor(that will have all the connectors with out cutting into it) that will also connect to the ecu without jumper harness?

use your stock cx harness and wire a few things in that are needed like the 3 to 2 wire IACV, knock sensor and wire up the secondary butterflys if your gonna be using the gsr ecu.

96-98 civic harness is obd2a, one piece harness
99-00 civic harness is obd2b, one piece harness
96-99 teg harness is obd2a, two piece harness
00-01 teg harness is obd2b, twp piece harness

what i mean by one piece harness is that you engine harness runs throughout the motor and through the firewall to connect to the ecu. and the two piece harness is having 2 harness's, one that runs throughout the motor and connects at about the passenger side shock tower and the other harness runs through the firewall to the ecu.

Yea, unfortunaley couple of my sensor connectors are missing so I'm kinda stop in open water. I been searching for a couple of weeks and found nothing. I check junk yards, I even went to acura but they don't sell single connectors the just sell harness. Also I was talking to someone about this problem and said a 99 si harness will work. Another question come to mind is why is it best to use stock harness( don't take in that I have a 96 gsr ecu)?

i think its best to use the stock harness because your 96 gsr ecu will plug right up to your stock cx harness. Just wiring in a few things to the ecu to make sure no check engine lights are gonna come on. I dont think you can use the 99-00 civic si harness because it is obd2b and i dont think it will plug into the cars under dash harness and the cabin harness. I think the plugs are different.

I found a website that has jumper harnesses that go from ob2b to ob2a. But now what you said it wont plug into cabin harness is another blow to the nuts on that idea. Would you happen to know where I might be able to get some connectors like the knock , and tps.

just go to a junk yard and find a teg harness or civic harness and cut off the plugs you need. If your local junkyard doesn't have anything, I'm sure someone on here in the marketplace will sell some plugs to ya

yea i would def take a look in the marketplace...you can find pretty much anything you want on there
