Default 98 civic hb W/gsr engine harness help

Ok ive got a problem the engine harness from the engine i got is missing sensors plugs what not and im having a REALLY hard time finding a new gsr harness 1 month and still nothing. Anyways is there any other harnesses that would work and what would i need to do. And i would like to stay obd2 cause im worried about emission problems. (Im not looking for half *** answers if you can help it would be GREATLY apprecated) The harness ive been looking for is 96-98 because its the one that fits the 96-98 ecu but im willing to get 96- newer if it works. And i cant have any engine lights going off.

The EX already has the vtec wires, but you wont have a knock sensor.

So now let me ask would you guys go with the civic harness if you couldnt find a gsr harness. And if i wire it in will it be a problem later on and if you dont have a knock sensor which i think i would wire it up anyways can you cap it off or would you get a check engine light. AND if i were to wire up the knock sensor would i get a check engine light. Thanks

Ok and one more for ya (I think). The harness i want would be from a 96-98 civic non SI correct which would make it the sohc vtec right. And also the stock cat was hallowed out by the previous owner and one of the sensors missing was the o2 sensor that goes to the cat would this new harness take care of that as well. Its getting an aftermarket cat if that matters.
