I dont think you need the mud guards. Manufacturer just tryin to get more money out of you. Side as in corner? If its a small one on the corner then i wouldnt worry too much bout it.

i kinda thought the mud guards weren't too much to worry about..and yeah it's a crack in the front right corner of the cat shield..
If its a small crack i wouldnt worry bout it. Its up to you if you want to replace it. After a while it prob wear and get larger so i guess your eventually gonna have to replace it in the long run. Plus if you wanted mud guards you could always go on Ebay and find them for a lot cheaper if not a junkyard.

the motor mounts are a good thing to keep track off. it can effect how your car rides and if it gets bad enough it has the ability to do more damage. extreme torque flex un supported on the engine can damage exhaust or electrical components in the long run.
the converter shield is not necessary, we remove a lot because they get loose and rattle. as long as you dont park on high grass after a long drive, you'll be fine if it is just removed.
splash shields. i believe that's another description for the fender well linings, if not ignore me. but those are fairly important to have. just to avoid getting mud/dirt/water/etc in the engine bay or damaging the wire harnesses that run through the fender wells.
the ball joints will effect your handling if they get bad enough, but they can be put on hold for a little while. as for ease of installment, it's something someone with the correct tools and knowledge could handle. as for an extreme beginner, leave it to the pro's to avoid headache and maybe even further issues.

depends on how bad the ball joints are. They are a safety item, since if they get bad enough, your car will become dangereous to drive. then do the motor mount. the cat shield i wouldn't do. ever. period. the splash guards I would do whenever you have the cash, no rush, but you might want to do them before winter.
and those are all serious alien ****-probing prices. take your car somewhere else.

out of the 5 listed id only get the ball joints replaced. Motor mount sounds good too, but if it aint vibrating visiously dont touch it. Honda Dealer is a rip off, get ball joints replaced at Mom and Dad Bob's shop, gonna be cheaper, ball joints themself cost 30 dollars, labor is around 40 mins. No way its gonna cost 325 bucks.
PS> my car is a 97 lx, i got 145k motor mounts have never been replaced and dont need to be.

you can get a high flow cat and have it installed for less than they want to replace the shield!
the splash shields i wouldnt worry about, i havent had any splash shields or wheel well plastic liners on my car for about 4 years, havent had any problems.
like everyone said, the lower ball joints are cheap to replace.
never take your car to the dealership!

-Front Mount, unless its torn to **** you should be fine.
-CAT shield, Tear that **** off. unless you park on dry grass you won't have any problems. I took mine off years ago and never had a problem
-Splash shields, you are fine without them if they have a crack or two it will be fine.
-Ball Joints, You can just get new boots for them most likely. if not and you need to replace them any mechanic can do it, its not some special honda thing like the dealers like to tout.
from what it sounds like, its a dealer nit picking on a 9 year old car so they can dig in your pockets.
good luck
