Well this morning i was a awoke to to the song of my grandparents saying, i think something explode in the engine. so i when to take a look and the top of it was craked a hole in both sides. The battery was still smoking. Dose any one know what made this happen ???????????????????????

 

do you have any non factory stuff installed under the hood?? wiring near the battery??

 

A spark ignited a hydrogen explosion inside the battery. You didn't mention if it was while starting (more common than) or just sitting there.
1) Just starting: arc caused by poor cable connection at battery
2) Just sitting there: Internal short (very uncommon)
3) Running: Alternator overcharged battery causing it to overheat, etc.

this happend to my friend's mom's van. she was parked, listening to the radio, changed the song and kabooom! my friend just cleaned up all the acid and put another one in..

 

although very rare it could have been an intenal short if no wiring or anything else is close to battery ,,, after replacing make sure you have the charging system checked out voltyage regulator could be faulty thus it overcharged battery

 

Low on water or discharge tube was clogged?

 

If the battery was low on acid/water it could explode. It happens once in whlie to our generators at work.

 

A lot of acid came out and water to when i opened the hood the battery was smoking
