Hey guys,
My drain line is leaking out from the bottom of the turbo where the flange bolts onto it. I was trying to figure out a way to fix this. I think my oil drain gasket might be a little misaligned. I had to take it off before and I found it was off a little bit, so I was leaking through one of the bolt holes.
Should I use a tiny amount of silicone sealant or make not use the gasket at all and use some copper seal? Or maybe I'll just use some super glue to keep the gasket square lined up with the flange square.
What do you guys think?
TIA

I already tried a new gasket and the bolts are the right size. Since the gasket is a little off it is seeping past that and leaking out through the bolt holes for the flange. The flange bolt holes aren't threaded and I dont think any oil drain flanges are threaded.
Anyone else? should I try some copper spray plus the gasket? copper spray only? or just try to get the gasket perfectly centered on the flange?

Cool, I'll just use some degreaser to clean off the oil and use some high temp silicone from NAPA or Autozone. Should I use it along with the paper oil drain gasket? or should I not even run the gasket?
Thanks

ok, I wont be able prep the surface of the flange cause we dont have anything flat that I can sand it with. I'll just clean it off really good and use some hi temp silicone sealant and take out the gasket.
