Default Oil Drain Flange, Do i use just the gasket or gasket and permatex?

probably a stupid question but on the oil drain flange where it meets the turbo do i need to use permatex in there also or is the gasket going to be ok to use by itself? would the turbo get too hot to use permatex on there with the gasket?

thanks in advance
