ok i have a red tial small 5psi spring on my deltagate 38mm and in first gear it reads 5psi than second like 8psi than 3rd 10 than 4th 10 is this normal cause i'm scared i'll blow my motor??? should i order the 3psi spring than bring it up wit a mbc to 4psi?? car is street tuned already?

 

no not normal, that wastegate is know to creep like that

 

where does the waste gate get its boost signal from? if you are pulling it from the manifold it may be causing it. i know everyone flames the delta gate, but for 2 years mine stayed locked at 7 psi never crept, or spiked. make sure you have solid connections, try to catch the boost signal off of the turbo.

but to answer your question, no it isnt normal. and at 10 psi in 4th gear, thats where you will do most of your damage.

 

the vac coming from the turbo the lil port on the side...about if i change the spring to a 3psi will this help? or should i just get another gate ?

 

a tial will probably help but i cant see why i didnt have any problems for 2 years but try another gate and see if that helps.

 

i hope so...and it might be something else to i converted from internal to external and welded the external on the manifold my self maybe it might be leaking can this cause boost creep like that??? and my dump tube is open atmosphere?

 

the vac line is on the wastegate but the exhaust for the gate have no dump tube
