boost creep? what is it?
ok what is it exactly? i think im getting it. here we go. i have a 5psi spring in my wastegate and in 2nd gear it will stay at 5 and then 3rd gear it will slowly go to like 8 and then 4th gear it will go up to 12psi? is this boost creep. it slowly moves. its not all at once. i kinda of like it actually because i cant get traction anyways in 2nd and beginning of 3rd and then in 4th its full out hardcore. but really i know its bad what can i do to stop it?

Yes that is boost creep....if you wastegate is set at 5psi and it slowly goes to 12. It's not exactly "bad" if you are tuned for it. It just means that you need a better manifold and/or a better wastegate.
To stop it, get a manifold with a more centrally placed wastegate hole on the manifold. By central I mean one that is not one just one or two runners. By a better wastegate I mean that the turbonetics deltagate one sucks and is known for doing this. Try a Tial or something like that.

ok cool. thanks. but what actually causes it because if it were "creeping" or leaking out wouldnt that cause my boost pressure to decrease?

Bad wastegate location and you are not letting enough exhaust out of the wastegate or you have a shitty wastegate.

Your wastegate cant pull enough exhaust out to stop your turbo from going over 5psi, its not a bad spring or anything. only way to fix it is like they said above, better wastegate or better manifold.
What wastegate and manifold are you using?
