Would the above mentioned gun work in removing the crank pulley bolt with no problems?

You should always have some sort of way of locking the crank in place so it won't turn. A big gun and a crank pulley locker would do the trick in 2 seconds.

At the above mentioned URL there are a few other 3/4" guns with more torque than the one I put in the first post. Would the other ones be a better choice?

I wouldn't spend that much money just to get a crank bolt off...

1) take the boot off not all the way just to see the hole where the slave cylinder goes in(one on transmission)
2) stick a flat head screw driver through the hole
3)try and find the holes in the fly wheel and stick the screw driver in there
4) get someone to hold the screw driver for about 3 mins
5) brake the crank pulley bolt
6) your home free

tools used were breaker bar, flat head screw driver and socket for crank pulley bolt

DO NOT STICK A SCREW DRIVER IN THE FLYWHEEL TO HOLD IT. That is one of the dumbest things I see people do instead of renting the tool to hold the pully properly. Its just worth the risk of damging the flywheel and or transmission housing. Get the tool and get the airgun, You'll use it later for other things on the car aka suspension for example.

Ive had to take mine off a few times. Impact gun works well, but dont sit on it. Do it in spurts, it will come off.

Oh and I used a $25 90lb 3/4" impact gun from autozone.
