Default replacing all the vaccum lines?

well i'm slowly but surely going through my CRX and replacing everything that looks like its should be replaced on a 15 year old car.

But today i was checking out my old heat faded vaccum lines on the intake manifold and firewall and wanted to know who else has done all this? Mainly the reason i am doing it is to eliminate one more thing in the huge list of items that could be causing my weird *** idle.

BUT, as i noticed today all the hoses are numbered, so would i have to buy a kit or something from Honda?

I replaced all mine when I swapped the motor. I just bought a couple of feet of each and cut them to fit. It was all vacuum and "fuel" line that I used

Just figure out the diameter you need, then order some silcon lines from atpturbo.com. They are cheap and you just need to cut them to length.

Describe your idle problem? have you replaced the pcv yet.

Just make sure it actually states on the line that it can be used for fuel or vaccum lines. Some smog techs can be an *** about this and fail you.

You can find the stuff at any kragen, pepboys, etc...just make sure it has the print on it.

So it bounces from 400 to 2k, then back again and again? This happened to me this weekend. My pcv split in half and got disconnected.

This used to happen to me after my mpfi swap. All my lines were correct. And it ended up being my eacv. **** was dirty as hell.

i soaked one of my eacv in carb cleaner for a day then put it back on, and the pcv is new. i think there could be air in the coolant but i don't know how to properly bleed it

have you pulled the intake off the head recently? I would check the gasket and check the intake and head to see if it could be warped.
