Re: (turbotime)
I'm not sure where to get it either, but the vac line in the back of autzone works just fine for a turbo build. I'm using it with no problems

I used some of that cheap **** they sell at VIP... Had it running from my Brake Booster -> vacuum manifold. Then from Vacuum manifold -> Wastegate and BOV
As soon as the vacuum line got hot it began to collapse.
After that I used some quality vacuum line that my dad had laying around. If you can bend it easily, it's took weak.

The local foreign auto part distributor sells the cloth vac hose here. 3mm and 5mm in 3 meter lengths. Go ask a VW place where to get it.
The black nomex stuff would work but its $$$$ and I have never seen it smaller than -4AN.

for my vaccum lines i wanted to run all stainless braided, but im running low on funds. so, i went to he hardware store and found that dishwashers and some refrigerators (sp) washinbg machines, etc use stainless braided line. for like 15 bux u can get 8 foot of line and it has weird fittings on the end which i will just cut off and make something else on the end so it looks good. just a thought

I was just messing with the nomex stuff again, Its sort of a pain to cut without fraying...worse than the ss stuff. And its VERY fire proof. I tested it
